Great reusable lockout tool for residential owners, property managers, business owners and locksmiths. For many residential locks using KW1, KW10, DE6, WR3/WR5, AR1, and many other standard Kwikset style keys.
Fits many brands. Kwikset, Titan, Dexter, Segal, Arrow, Weiser/Falcon, Defiant and others that use a Kwikset compatible keyway.
When you need to temporarily restrict access to your home or business. Simply insert the lockout blade (Marked #1) all the way into the lock cylinder. This keeps other keys, even a previous key that works from entering and opening the lock.
Then you can have the locks rekeyed, replaced, or put back in full service, by using the removal piece (Marked #2) to take out the lockout key. Only takes seconds!
Two piece tool. Simply slide the key blade (Marked #1) into the lock, until the stop hits the lock cylinder.
To remove the lockout key, insert the second part of the key all the way in the key cylinder. When the two key pieces are flush together, pull them out together. The lock can now be used normally.
