The badge face is 2.8cm high and has a clasp style fastener to the rear. The pin features a 3D truck in the centre in raised relief.
This is a rare long service award badge. 'Za Vernost' means 'for Loyal Service' and would have probably been a retirement award under communism.
Historical Background
LIAZ were formed in 1951 as the Liberecke automobilove zavody (Liberec Automobile Company). Producing trucks and buses as part of the Skoda enterprise. All liaz trucks sported the Skoda logo up until the 1970's. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Liaz went bankrupt. Most of their sales were to the COMECON countries and the economic turmoil was too much for the company to endure.
