    Description

    Rare Standard Aero Corp. WW l era Tycos  altimeter made by the Taylor Instrument Company. This altimeter is just like the ones used in the Curtiss Jenny type biplanes of that time. This is the first one I've seen with the Standard Aero Corporation on the dial. The mounting flange is 6" in diameter and the dial is 5". The rotating brass bezel has a locking tab ( see photos ). It looks to be in good condition with no damage.
