ERY AND ANYTHING IN SITE IN WHAT IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE VERY FIRST OF THE GREAT SCREWBALL COMEDIES, AS THEY WERE HENCEFORTH KNOWN.  THE MUSICAL IS NO DIFFERENT AND GAVE JOHN CULLUM AND THE LATE GREAT MADELINE
KAHN THEIR TURNS AS OSCAR JAFFE AND LILY GARLAND (NE MILDRED PLOTKA)

IT ALSO STARRED IMOGENE COCA AND  IT SHOT NEWCOMER KEVIN KLINE TO STARDOM AS LILY'S VAIN BUT CLUMSY COSTAR AND LOVER, BRUCE GRANIT.  DIRECTED BY HAROLD PRINCE, THE SHOW HAD A WONDERFUL PEDIGREE WITH BOOK AND LYRICS BY COMDEN AND GREEN AND MUSIC BY CY COLEMAN.
IT IS CURRENTLY ENJOYING A FLAWLESS MUST SEE REVIVAL STARRING KRISTEN CHENOWETH AND PETER GALLAGHER AS LILY AND OSCAR
THOUGH THIS IS NOT THE POSTER WITH KAHN'S NAME ON IT IT IS CONSIDERED ORIGINAL BECAUSE MADELINE KAHN WITHDREW FROM THE SHOW AFTER ONLY 9 WEEKS CITING THE CLASSIC EXCUSE "VOCAL CORD DAMAGE".  THE WORD ON THE STREET WAS DIFFERENT AND CLOUDY. OR SNOWY.  HOWEVER UNDERSTUDY JUDY KAYE WENT ON, THE CRITICS WERE INVITED BACK, AND THE NEW YORK TIMES PROCLAIMED "BANG, BOOM, OVERNIGHT KAYE IS A STAR".  NOT AN EASY FEAT REPLACING MADELINE KAHN.  I SAW BOTH.  KAHN WAS BRILIANT...DOING MASELINE KAHN BRILLIANTLY.  BUT JUDY KAYE WAS BRILLIANTLY LILY GARLAND (NE MILDRED PLOTKA).  THIS POSTER IS MAGNIFICENT AND CAPTURES THE HIGH ART DECO STYLE OF THE MUSICAL ESPECIALLY WITH THE METALLIC SILVER UNDERLAY.   IT IS EXQUISITE.
IT IS PRINTED ON HEAVY CARDBOARD STOCK AND MEASURES 14" X 22".  THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT.  THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION OR REPRINT

Hello.  By way of introduction and for your information, I am TMQPOSTERS.
Everything that you will see on my EBay Selling List is from my personal private collection.  I started collecting NEW and VINTAGE ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS (especially GONE WITH THE WIND,  STAR WARS,
all SPIELBERG, DISNEY, ACADEMY AWARD WINNERS, BATMAN, LORD OF THE RINGS, HARRY POTTER, BROADWAY,
CLASSIC,
CULT, CAMP, TRASH, ETC!!!) since I was a 27 year old in 1976 when I moved and lived in NYC.
All the posters (even the originally folded ones) have been rolled in tubes and stored in a temperature controlled environment from the time I purchased each one.
Needless to say, it is a diverse and eclectic collection of over 650 POSTERS.   I also collected ANIMATION ART, specifically ORIGINAL DISNEY HAND PAINTED PRODUCTION BACKGROUND PAINTINGS that went under camera in the filming of Disney movies.  I will not knowingly misrepresent the pieces I put on EBay.
All the photographs you see of my posters and art are ones that I have taken, not downloaded from other online sites. I will gladly answer all questions, discuss shipping, etc.
